Is there a direct link download?

    I feel your pain. But the Product Manager is just as fast as a “direct download”. I’m getting top speed on downloading right now. Which unfortunately for me is about 900 kB/s. (That’s the fastest my Internet service provides in my area) Each library part is going to take about 12 hours for me. I figure I’ll download one part a day. And in 5 days I’ll have everything. Unless I start a download before I go to bed, then I’ll have them all in about 2 and a half days.

    I’m assuming from your post you’re not with the support team?

    While I’m thrilled you’re getting such a quick overnight download per package myself and others are not….

    I’ve been downloading thru my fast isp for over 36 hours and haven’t finished part 1 as of yet…

    Toontrack should have had multiple servers enough to handle a release this big they spent so much time promoting knowing the demand would have been this high…

    Regardless of the interface for downloading!

    I was hoping for a response from actual support personnel.

    Your response doesn’t offer me any explanation on their logic… only that you’re fairing better

    I got you. You’re frustrated and you were hoping my response would solve your problems. I’ve been there and I know. So I apologize for showing a little empathy. But I did not realize your download was taking THAT long. I thought that I had the slowest connection in the world, but 36 hours for one library, I agree that’s intolerable.

    I hope one of the support team steps in and offers some help. If nothing else, my replies have kept your post near the top of the list, and might get more attention.

    Hi John, if there’s any way that I can get a faster download, I’d appreciate some help too.
    I’ve been downloading since yesterday morning non-stop, and I’m still only halfway through Part TWO!

    Is there a process to download from other computer and bring to your studio machine? I downloaded at my house but now having a hard time getting them to be seen in the Product Manager on my studio machine. Separate location. I only have very weak wifi at studio and had to take advantage of the speed at my house. Thanks!

    John, whatever help you’re giving out, can you please contact me as well? Or make it public??!! This is absurd. ranging from 120-1100 hours on hi speed fibre

    Just returned from my gig tonight and finally got the last of the downloads completed!

    The trace route request and other data I was asked to send to Toontrack provided nothing!

    1. The rollout overwhelmed the company servers?

    2. The rollout was designed in hope folks would fork over an extra $200.00 for a hard drive.

    Anyway I have mine now… good luck to the rest of you!

    Well thanks William. Yours is the only post for hours regarding this. I’m happy for you but I’m very close to requesting a refund for various reasons, this not the least among them.

    My speed was ok (9 mb/sec instead of the 11 mb/sec) I usually have. The drops were the problem though. About every 15 minutes everything went down to 150 kb/sec but restarting the product manager fixed it! In short, start downloading and restart the product manager as soon as speed gets slow.

    Many people bought it I assume…so everything’s slower than expected…however, when watching Youtube, I get an SD3 ad 80% of the time. 😀

    I’m extremely annoyed at the slow download speeds as well. The download speed through Product Manager is a total joke. I’ve been downloading for 2 days now, and STILL not completed. The Toontrack servers are giving me WAY less than what my system is capable of delivering. Very frustrated,
