I have downloaded and installed the Product Manager (on a PC). When starting the Product Manager, it attempts to update. The update fails: “Update check failed. Connection could not be established.”
I can connect to http://www.toontrack.com – that’s what I’m using to make the support request.
What I’ve tried:
I temporarily disabled the firewall, but the app was still unable to connect.
Reinstall the Product Manager app & retry. Same error.
Install the Product Manager on a different PC; still unable to connect.
I’m not sure if this is related, but I tried registering my product (Superior Drummer 2.0) via the web page. The registration appears to have succeeded, but the “Authorize” step fails with this error: “Invalid computer ID. Contact support for help.”
Thanks in advance for helping me get this sorted out.
I figured it out. It was my ISP. When I enabled an anonymous VPN, I could update the Product Manager and sign in.
