Hello Everyone!
I’m new to SD2 and EXDrummer 2… I’m considering to get one of them; however, I’m stuck about which to get. So I have two questions…
SD2 says it comes with an exclusive MIDI library, but how many loops exactly?
I’m considering EZDrummer 2 Bundle Pack (Pop/Rock and Rock) as well, but would you rather get SD2?
Both are $299, so I’m trying to see which is best, I’m a singer/songwriter, trying to make Christian Rock music but I need good loops and sounds.
Thank for your help!
Hi,
I don’t work with loops at all, but SD2 gives you much more control over how you want your drums to sound (parameters, velocity, etc). I went with SD2, but don’t use a lot of what is there. But it’s nice to know that I can if I need to do so. I would really suggest checking out some videos of both to see their capabilities. If they are the same price, I would go with SD2. They also run sales on their products at times, and you might want to wait until a time they do. One thing to note is that expansion packs for EZD work in SD2, but not the other way around. I hope this helps you a bit.
