I’ve been trying to find a description of the right place to put Third Party midi folders on my external drive for EZ Drummer. Anyone know where I could find that? Where is the best place to put them?
Right now in the Browser they show up Under User Libraries, then in a folder called My Midi Libraries, and I’d like them to show up directly under that folder in the browser rather than a subfolder.
I have all my EZ Drummer2 files on an external disk, in a folder called EZ Drummer. It’s set up like this:
EZ Drummer>
– All Sound Libraries
– Folder called ‘Midi’>
All EZ Drummer Midi Folders
– Folder called ‘My MidiFiles’
– A couple of third party midi folders (these do show up in the EZ Drummer Browser by themselves, rather than in the subfolder
– All third party midi folders
When I try to add a folder by going to Settings>Add Folder to User Libraries then searching in OS X for the particular midi folder it says “Cannot Add Path. Toontrack Midi packs are located here.”
All the third party midi is available in the browser, but I’d like to get it properly organized. Thanks for any help!
