I can use EZ Drummer 2 as a standalone application (seemingly already authorized), but when I try to use it as a plugin in Logic it asks me to authorize it again, then fails (see the attached picture).
Any ideas?
I’ve uninstalled EZDrummer, reinstalled it, installed the 2.1.4 update, and I’m still having the same issue.
From advice from support, I’ve also gone into the Audio Units Manager in Logic, gone through Resetting & Rescanning Selection – still the same problem.

Hi,
in between uninstalling and re-installing, did you check the ‘Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components’ folder that the file was actually deleted and did you clear the AU cache as described in this FAQ?:
