Hi,

I just have a quick question regarding the Superior drummer presets, as the ones that appear in the Toontracks menu don’t appear to be the same as the ones listed on the website, i.e. Grande Rock, Narwhal, small room diddley, etc. The ones I have are Avatar Natural, EZdrummer, 70’s kit, bullet squash, etc. They’re not that good to be honest.

Are these the standard ones?

Hi,

those references in that playlist are not to Presets, rather Band names and/or Song names, where Superior 2 and Avatar has been used.
It sounds like you have the standard Presets.
Please check out the Producer Presets for Avatar:
Allen Morgan
Big Drums
Bulb
Charles Feelgood
Joe Sturgis
Koloss
Steven Slate

Thanks for your reply, I’ve bought the Steven Slate set and have also bought the Progressive foundry, which in my opinion ticks all the boxes with regard to number of kits provided and number of ‘out of the box’ presets to use. With Avatar I wasn’t getting the kit sounds I wanted, without processing the sounds in the mixer.

I’m looking forward to using the progressive kits with my e-drum kit (alesis DM10 srtudio kit with mesh heads).
