I’m new to the Td-20 and SD2 set up. Ive been having issues getting the VH-12 to sound like it’s tight while my foots down on it.
Sounds somewhat open, more like it’s resting on top but not held down by my foot. Via EZ-drummer, it sounded decent, but with SD2 it sounds loose.
Is there a midi map for the td-20 that i could use that anyone’s created?
Any info or step by step tutorial online pertaining to the VH-12/SD2 map set up? ot articulation?
Or does anyone out there think it’s a setting within the td-20 module.
Im having trouble understanding this. Need some direction. 🙂
Thanks so much!
Hi,
please start with the ‘Roland’ E-Drums MIDI Preset on the Mapping page.
Next, try applying one of the ‘More Closed’ Pedal correction curves.
When you have found a setting that works for you, save your own MIDI Preset so you may recall it when switching libraries and kits.

John
