I just wanted to suggest to ad a search by name in EZDrummer.
While you have plenty of possibilities to narrow by style etc. or try your luck with Tap2Find it is impossible to look for names that might give away something about the grooves content, e.g. “Waltz”, which is annoying if you own more than one MIDI library. Also there may be waltzes or whatever you’re looking for in places where you don’t expect them.
It might also be helpful for those who vaguely remember some useful groove but not its exact path.
Have you tried using “Find/Show In Browser” when right clicking a MIDI song block on the track? Your text search idea is noted!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But I stumbled upon the “Find/Show In Browser” when right clicking a MIDI song block on the track. This works well as their are tags and tap to find options here as well. To me, the “Find/Show In Browser” is great for figuring out what midi block is in the song as I have 8 going on more and more x-packs and I use many different x-packs per song as probably most of us do.
Sarching with name seems to be essential for me, as I would quickly refind a midi, or similar midis related to a certain style, e.g. boogie. I don’t think it is difficult to include this function in the software.
+1 for adding the ability to search by name. Found myself frustrated a few times for not being able to type in an idea or style and get all the filtered results.
