Could you guys make it so product manager will not tell you an update is missing if you do not have the midi pack installed for an SDX or EZX, if you already have it installed as a stand alone midi pack?
Hi,
We’ll consider it, though spontaneously it does not feel very likely. I’d recommend you rather uninstall the stand alone MIDI pack and install the MIDI that comes with the SDX/EZX.

The stand alone midi pack will appear as an uninstalled product though. There are some products such as independent SDX where the midi pack will sound odd with other drums because it will try to trigger a tambourine which is mapped to trigger a crash on most other kits, in this instance, I would rather have the stand alone midi pack installed for universal compatibility.
Good point. But why not have both installed, since there are differences like that? Too hard to tell them apart, or?

I would rather not have both installed in order to keep my midi database clean. If I use song creator or tap 2 find within ezd2 I assume those grooves would always show up twice in my search results?
