Hello,
I’ve been triggering SD2 from an Alesis DM10 in Pro Tools and LPX with it connected via USB into my iMac powered hub. All works well.
I just installed Toontrack Solo and encountered 2 issues.
1) SD2 isn’t being triggered when connected via USB as above, which works fine in PT 12.6. However when I plug a MIDI cable into the DM10 and then into an iCon Midi > USB adaptor it does work. I don’t know why Toontrack Solo/SD2 isn’t seeing the DM10 via USB when it does see it within Pro Tools etc.
2) I also tried to load a Kit into SD2 while in Toontrack Solo but the ones we saved into SD2 from Pro Tools aren’t in the Kit menus within Solo. Again, not sure why this is and where exactly those Kits would be saved to, so that I can retrieve them. I have no trouble loading them into SD2 from inside Pro Tools.
Any advice appreciated…

Hi,
1) are you sure your DM10 has the latest firmware? It *should* work and I do not think the DM10 would need drivers for OS 10.11.3 but I could be wrong, best to check on the Alesis site.
2) Kit Presets should be system-wide, so something is fishy. If you open Superior 2 in Toontrack solo and Pro Tools respectively and go to the ‘Manage in Finder’ entry, do they open different folders?
