I have EZdrummer 2 and I’ve toyed with superior drummer at my brother’s house and I’ve noticed.. (correct me if I’m wrong) that you cannot swap kit pieces in superior drummer the way that you can easily do it in EZdrummer ( using a Progressive EZX kick inside 1 of the HipHop EZX presets) not at all possible in superior from what I could tell and I spent 4 hours on it while my brother was there and he’s been using superior for a looooong time. Also..I noticed that the ride bell that you can trigger separately from the rest of the ride in EZdrummer does not exist in superior drummer even while using an EZX.
Has anyone else noticed this or know if it will be fixed soon?
I was interested in superior drummer for a long time, but if im limited to what kits I can mix together then Im not really interested.
you would think this would have already been fixed by now. not very superior to ezdrummer in my book.
In Superior it is called x-drums and it’s in the top right hand corner of the construction panel. Not only can you swap out (i.e. replace) the default piece of kit, you can layer multiple kit pieces together.
Check out this video, which explains the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH3bVYSFMUU

Yeah, I’ve seen that video and that is 1, a pain, and 2 does not seem to work. I mean completely mix and match kit pieces like you can in ezdrummer.
You have indeed more control and possibilities in Superior 2 when it comes to adding/swapping drums.
Please elaborate on what you are trying to achieve.
