When playing double kicks my superior will randomly lag and it’s not playing tight. Any suggestions?

Your system is not handling the info. Could be Midi info but perhaps audio/ ram /audio buffer settings , SD2 does not suffer any lagging itself what ever you throw at it, it is on your computers end you need to correct.
So why this works on Protools 10 but not Protools 11? Buffer 1024 and I can mix 90+track mixes without hitting 30% of ram usage or cpu.
Edit. I found a solution. I dropped buffer to 64 and the problem disappeared. No idea why but that worked.
Thought so.
1024 is like way SLoooow
its good if just big track count on a mix but not good for triggering drums.
64 is a good place.
MIDI timing at high buffer sizes has been ‘not so optimal’ in several versions of Pro Tools. IIRC, if you are experiencing problems, you can’t go higher than 256.
