Hey there,
I have projects in Reaper on my Mac. I am going to be using a PC now instead and would like to transfer the project files from the Mac to the PC. These files are using EZ Mix 2 and EZ Drummer 2 on a lot of the tracks.
When I install EZ Mix 2 and EZ Drummer 2 on my PC, and open up the projects files in Reaper on the PC, the EZ Mix and Drummer plugins aren’t found because it is looking for different versions of the EZ Mix/Drummer VSTs. So I get the dry tones and no midi triggering.
If I install both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions, neither seem to work or are recognized when I open the files. Is there a way to transfer the projects with all settings and refresh the plugins to recognize that they are in fact installed on my pc and are working?
I don’t want to have to go back and do all that work again :
Cheers!
Hi,
please use the Product Manager to make sure all your products are installed on the PC and that they are updated correctly.
Also make sure that your version of Reaper is picking up the right version and bit flavor; i.e. Reaper 64 bit should be pointed to the 64-bit version of the plugin(s).
There should be no problem opening a song made on one platform on the other.
