how do i Record MIDI in Logic using EZdrummer?
if i hit record button in EZ UI it is not latched correctly and pretty much unusable. and the Logic track has no record button????
Hi,
I’m not sure about what you mean?
If I hit the Rec button in EZdrummer 2 and then the Spacebar, the Song Track in EZdrummer 2 starts recording, in sync with the Logic Timeline.
Please elaborate.

Logic “does” have a Record enable/button but you need to know that first.
You can make and edit midi very comprehensively in Logic with EZ as your Plugin or you can do it in a more basic level within EZ, both work.
There is a setting in EZ to lock it to your Daw.
“Logic “does” have a Record enable/button”
i know but on this track there is no record button but on other tracks there is.
It does here.
Perhaps yours was a Drummer track first or something any how easy to fix.
John you are right I dont know what i missed but yes it works as you described. Regarding the missing record button. super weird but yes i add new track and it does have the button. must be an obscure logic bug.
