Hi,
I’ve got an issue similar to ambientdave (http://www.toontrack.com/forum/studio-corner-1/ez-drummer-2-audio-glitches/) and it’s frustrating because the Trial version didn’t have this issue and is why I bought the full version.
The trial version was perfect and caused no problems with glitches/crackles etc. However the full version now causes this and I can see the VST performance meter even when nothing is playing jumping to max and back again. I can’t seem to catch it in a screen grab though as the VST performance meter disappears when I try to!
I’ve tried changing the ASIO buffer sizes and this only makes a marginal difference. Freezing the instrument makes it somewhat better with very occasional pushes.
This is all 64bit versions too so no wrapper involved. I have tried the 32 bit and it made no difference.
I can’t believe there would be that much difference between the trial and full and didn’t want to change my settings too much as I liked the latency/performance feel I had.
Is there anything I can do or try?
Thanks,
Pommyman
EDIT: I have enabled ASIO guard in Cubase and this has made some difference, though still leaves the question of why the full version does this and not the trial in identical settings in the same song.
Hi,
which version number is reported in the plugin interface?
How is your Buffer size set?
If you are Freezing the Instrument track with EZdrummer 2 and still have some random glitches, it cannot be related to the plugin, since the plugin is inactive and a rendered audio file is being played back.

Hi Bud
I sorted out my glitches (hopefully) by going into my FL12 VST wrapper and changing a setting.I tried standalone and the Vst version, lots of glitches, had me really frustrated, until I read up in my FL manual about this wrapper setting
In your DAW do you have wrapper for your EZ drummer 2? Do you get the same problems in standalone and Vst versions?
I got a gut feeling it might be a bug or something, since the update.
I could be wrong, I am a new user of EZ drummer 2 ( a few days in) apart from these problems EZ drummer 2 is really cool.
Hope you get it sorted out bud, will check back in a day or so.
Sorry Pommyman
I just read your post again, you have no wrapper, also you tried the free latency checker tool? Or a fresh install of EZ drummer 2?
yeah its a pain as its a big file, might be worth a go.
Thanks for the responses guys!
So far with ASIO guard on, it works OK and I don’t get the glitching. As soon as I take it off it all comes back though. I haven’t tried standalone yet, and I also have a Reaper setup so I’ll try it in that. I’ll report back once I’ve done this over the week and see if I get the same issues.
Cheers,

Hi bud
Have you opened EZ drummer 2 in standalone? Check the audio settings, buffer etc (take a screen shot) and compare to your DAW audio settings/ audio interface mixer settings?
Check you computer sound settings too, mine has my Scarlett AI set as default. Check for new updates on the audio driver (s)
These things I looked into.Good luck bud, hope you get it sorted.
