Hey Guys,
Anyone here using ez2 in Reaper??
I have a situation where, in short, I’m working with an i7 with 8gb, 64-bit OS and Win 7 Pro.
I loaded ONLY the Reaper and ez2 in proper 64-bit (Program files, not x86) folders, and with my Presonus card, and I have an issue..
Either program will load properly np, can even load the EZ into the reaper and run it all day long IN STEREO ONLY…
Problem is when I get to opening EZ2 in Reaper, and ‘Insert VI into new track’, and it wants to load 16 tracks and my RAM goes from 20-30% while programs are open, to 94, 95% RAM use and just HAMMERS the memory and basically LOCKS up my system, until I’m forced to do a Hard shutdown after a while becuase it never loads or resolves itself…
Has ANYONE COME ACROSS THIS??? I don’t understand WHY this is happening, I searched and seen guys using reaper as their DAW and VERY INCREDIBLE EZ2 with MANY plug-ins, strings, synths, and with 8gb or LESS in some cases, and I’m getting crushed OUT OF THE GATE….
Any Help, Insights, Ideas, Thought-provoking comments are greatly appreciated, fwiw, I went to the Reaper site and posted, simply becuase I believed it to be a ‘reaper compatibility’ issue, but I’ve yet to find anyone to come up with a viable answer/starting point..
Thanks in advance for any Help….
H
What is the version number of EZD2 and what is the version number of Reaper?
