Hi
I have the EZDrummer 2 and the Addons “Pop” and “Electronic”and the MIDI Expansion “Ballad”.
For an actual project i Need a little faster and “harder” Beat like Rock (Maybe you Know Darft Punk’s Song “Giogio by Moroder”, that comes my wishes very near).
Now the Expansion Packs are in a sale, so i look at the “Rock!” Expansion, but it sounds not very special, but have many Kits.
Then I listen to the Demos from “Rock Solid”, that sounds very good. But i don’t know if it is the sound of the Kits, or just the way they played. So, I think what to do: Buy the Expansion Kit or the MIDI Expansion “Rock Solid”.
The Question is; Is the MIDI Pack called “Rock Solid” the Same MIDIs that are in the Expansion “Rock Solid”? Or has “Rock Solid” a handful MIDI Parts and with the MIDI-Pack you can bring it to “best work”?
So what is the best buy.
Maybe you can help me out.
OK, I See now on the product Site of the MIDI Pack, that it include the same MIDIs as the Expansion..
I bought Hip hop and there is not one single sample that cover all the parts of a song in the “Song creator”. Really bad, I feel scammed!
I hope that “Rock Solid” you are looking at is better.
I don’t know, what you really mean.. But I think, the Rock Solid is a very good Addon. Okay, there are no much difference to the standard-Sets, but the MIDI-Section is very good and I have many MIDI to chose from, and always find what I need..
The only Thing, I don’t know: Why has EZDrummer no Editor? Where you can create your own MIDIs and save them easy in the MIDI Browser.. Or maybe I didn’t found it yet (Maybe I can save them simply via drag&Drop from my DAW.. I didn’t try it .. Maybe I do next time )
I have a few of the heavier add ons. IMO the best is the Andy Sneap pack. I used that for this:
