I am currently evaluating EZdrummer 2 using the demo. The program works perfectly for me in standalone mode. I love it. My problem is that it pretty much does not work at all when I’m using it as an instrument in Logic. I can drag loops out into my Logic project, but that’s about it. I can’t preview loops. I can’t adjust the kit. Tap-to-find does not work at all.
The standalone is amazing. I love working with it. But if I would have the same problem in Logic if I bought the full version, that’s a deal breaker.
Didn’t mention what OS and version of Logic but i can assure you EZD2 works flawlessly
with full functionality in LogicPro ( 10.0.7) here

and here, too. Logic Pro X on OSX 10.8.5
I have the latest update of OS X Yosemite and Logic 10.1.0. Maybe I need to update already I just keep hearing bad things about each update, so I’ve delayed updating.
Did anyone here have problems with EZdrummer 2 on that version of Logic Pro X?
UPDATE:
I took the plunge. I am now on the latest versions of both OS X and Logic (10.1.1), but I’m still having the same problems
Hi,
running on Yosemite 10.10.3 and Logic 10.1.1 here with no problems.
Have you tried Reset & Rescan in the Plugin Manager?

John, I tried that. I occasionally got it to work for a minute or two before going back to the same problems.
Is EZdrummer 2 the only software that has these issues in Logic for you?

Henrik, it is. I have no problem with any other software in Logic. I also tried reinstalling the demo, but no luck there.
It’s working now! I still have no idea why it wasn’t working before and just now is starting to work, but it is working!
That’s great! Computers aren’t always as logical as one might expect

Ugh. Now it just works sometimes but not others. I’m so frustrated with this. I can’t think of any explanation as to why this would be happening.
what hardware you are running?
what processor?
how much RAM?
how many audio tracks?
how many MIDI tracks?
