Hello everyone,
I have a couple of extremely rudimentary questions. I was given Superior Drummer 2.0 as a gift a few years ago when I was getting back into drumming and had a Roland electronic drum kit. That is now long gone, but I am hoping to start recording some songs with a very basic setup and am wondering if I can fit in Superior Drummer somehow. Basically, I want to record using GarageBand on my iPad and the Apogee Jam 96K interface. I’m wondering if there is a way to program drum tracks on my PC using the Superior Drummer library, then “route” a completed drum track into the iPad via my PC’s auxiliary in/out (so aux in/out–> 1/8″ to 1/4″ converter –> Apogee Jam interface –> iPad). Is this possible? If so, which drum track program would you recommend with this goal in mind? Superior Drummer 2.0 comes with EZ Player Pro, but my understanding is that it acts as a virtual instrument through a DAW rather than a stand-alone drum track program.
Any insights would be much appreciated! Thank you for your time.
