ok heres the deal and its driving me crazy
1: i have installed sup drummer 2.0 fine into pro tools 11
2: i create an instrument track and insert the sup drummer plugin into the track and open it no problem
3 i tap some of the drums i can hear them all fine
4 i arm a record track and run a test and record some drums by tapping them works ok
5 i i hook up a midi drum kit and set to channel 1
NO SOUND from sup drummer when i hit any pad (and its not mapping ok ) i cant find anywhere in the program to set the midi input channel like you can with EZdrummer
so i try the midi piano roll in protools same deal it will not trigger sup drummer
after hours and hours trying to find a way to have the program triggered by an external midi controller i am at my wits end
there seems to be no way to trigger sup drummer from and external source in protools ? or infact from the intern piano roll
only by using grooves in the plugin of tapping the drums manually
whats the story i have searched the net high and low and seen hundreds of people with the same issue and no answers forthcoming from toontrack and the help guys at sweetwater seem to not know how to solve this problem either nor do the people avid
whats goin on here why is there no way to set the incoming midi channel in he program ? and if there is where is it ?
tutorial would be good on how to set up this program with an drumkit or any external source in pro tools please
this seems to em to be a major issue with ease fo use with this software and extremely frustrating please give me a solution to this
and yes midi input is fine and work perfectly with everything else including ezdrummer
Hi,
it sounds as if you experience a very old bug with the very first release of Superior 2 on Windows.
It looks like you downloaded the 2.4.1 update after posting this. Did you apply it and did it help?
