Hi,
you don’t have any products registered to your Toontrack account, are we talking about the EZdrummer 2 Demo?
If so, there is an Uninstaller included in the Demo installer image.

I bought SD2.0 and I don’t have the EZ Drummer Demo installer now.
Do I need the installer to uninstall EZ?
Can’t you just move the program to the trash?
If not, how do I get the installer again?
Please use the Product Manager to manage what’s installed and not.

Hi,
the Uninstaller is included in the Installer package. If you have cleaned out the installer packages, you do not have an Uninstaller on disk.
Please download the installer package to access the Uninstall option.

Hi,
i installed the demo mode but try to unstall it after. Bas issue… The message is the unsintaller have to be updated.
My version Mac is 10.15.2.
Regards.
Hi stef77,
my guess is you installed the demo before you updated to Catalina?
Anyways, you will have to do it manually for now.
Find the following in the Finder and delete:
{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer – you can delete that ‘EZdrummer’ folder unless you have Superior Drummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3 installed.
{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/EZdrummerDemo.aaxplugin
{Mac HD}/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZdrummerDemo.component
{Mac HD}/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummerDemo.vst
I hope this helps, otherwise I recommend contacting Toontrack Support directly via the button found on any of the FAQ pages.
BR,
John

Thanked by: retgoathello i want to uninstall demo version of EZDrummer. from mac Catalina. whenever i try to unistall it says uninstaller needs to be updated please help
Hello,
How do I uninstall the demo version and have Logic recognize the full version I just downloaded? (Please see screenshots). I activated the EZ Drummer 2 demo prior to Mac OS Catalina Upgrade and I now have Catalina. My demo trial of EZD2 has expired and I’ve purchased the full version of EZ Drummer 2 today and downloaded it via TPM. I go to uninstall the demo version and I get a dev update prompt.
Thanks!
UPDATE I was able to use the EZDrummer2 once Logic restarted but I still cannot uninstall the Demo?
There should be an option to uninstall without having to re-download the entire installer. I have several products and we are talking about several gigabytes of data being unnecessarily downloaded, wasting time and bandwidth.
Toontrack, why don’t you either create an app uninstaller program, or add this option to the Product Manager?
Hello everyone!
I just bought “Superior drummer”. Should I uninstall all of my “EZ Drummer”-stuff, or is it “compadable” with “Superior drummer”? I can’t see any reason for keeping it since I bought SD3… Am I right? What do you lovely people think?
