Hi – I have Superior Drummer (and Toontrack solo) installed and authorised on my iMac. I am being given a PC laptop which I would like to use next to me at my e-drums and be able to jump between my PC laptop and iMac ‘master’ home studio desk during the same session i.e. I work alone so need local access to the SD UI at my kit too.
Q1: I would not need that PC laptop at all if there was an iPad app for SD/Toontrack Solo – are there any plans to create one / timescale?
Q2: I know I can have two active licence authorisations, but can I authorise a mix of Mac and PC?
Q3: What is the process for installation / authorisation on the PC laptop?
Q4: The EULA I find a bit confusing – is it saying I can authorise 2 machines but then cannot run them both at the same time i.e. cannot use them as described above? Does this restriction apply to the Superior Drummer plugin only or to Toontrack solo too? And given I can have 4 authorisations but only two ‘active’ ones, what constitutes ‘active’ and what purpose would the additional 2 non-active authorisations serve?
Many thanks!
