Team,
I can’t say enough good things about EZD 2 to my colleagues and friends. I’m having a blast with the program and the level of innovation over the first installment of EZ Drummer is unprecedented within the virtual instrument community. Surprisingly, one critical feature is missing from EZD 2 for the standalone mode. There is no option to import an audio track to build your drum track around. For standalone to truly stand alone, you need to be able to work with existing audio files to build your drum track to. I feel the addition of this critical feature would help me better create more realistic drum tracks, especially in Song Mode. I would imagine an option on the timeline where you can drag in any audio file and easily line it up against timeline within the program. This way I wouldn’t have to go into the DAW and try to build the drums within the file. Just a thought! Keep up the great work!!
EDIT:One other thing, this feature would be incredibly useful for E-drummers using EZD2. They can drop in an audio track to play to, as well as import various tracks for learning and development as well.
