My DAW is NOT on the internet and I do not plan on putting in on the internet. The demo requires an internet connection to activate…HELP!
>The demo requires an internet connection to activate
Yes, it does. The full product does not. I suggest you try it on
some other computer that sits on the internet.

Really, that’s your answer? I would like to test the MIDI out from EZDrummer 2 into Superior Drummer within my DAW. My DAW is not on any network. So, I have a demo that can only be tested in stand alone mode on a networked PC…yeah, not too excited about that answer.
What contain the EZDrummer Demo?
What about Latency with a Roland TD12 + Drumkit, RMA FF800 and Imac/Macbook pro – is it playable?
If it works, should i buy EZDrummer2 or SuperiorDrummer2 and also can i expect a new Version of SuperiorDrummer2!
Many thanks in advance!

The EZdrummer 2 demo is fully functional, however it only contains the Modern Library (it does not contain the Vintage sound library).
Latency is entirely dependent on your audio driver and system. EZDrummer 2’s sounds are all loaded into RAM before use, so EZDrummer 2 itself has Zero latency. A professional audio driver / sound card are needed for low latency performance with any virtual instrument.
Please see this link describing the difference between EZDrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 2. This may help you decide.

will i still be able to use ez drummer after the 10 days or do i have to uninsall it and then reinstall it?
You should un-install the demo before installing the full version.

Hi. I’ve just downloaded EZDrummer 2 DEMO . I would like to try it with my Roland TD 30 but I don’t find LEARN function. How can I do ? I selected Roland but rims of the toms sound like cymbal! Thanks for advice.
In the main menu (top right corner of EZdrummer 2), select E-drum/Manufacturer/Roland and see if that solves your problem.

I obviously selected roland but nothing has changed. The problem is the absence of the LEARN function. If it is not possible to accurately assign sounds to the pads you can not play with an E-drums. This demo is not so useful.
Hi giobel,
if you need that kind of control, you should take a look at Superior Drummer 2. Every articulation has Learn among a plethora of useful things when you are an E-drummer.

The EZdrummer 2 Roland preset should follow the default mapping of the TD20/TD30, so unless you have changed the mapping in your module it should play back ok. If the Roland preset hasn’t been selected you will definitely get cymbals playing with some of your tom rims. I would recommend trying to select the preset again.
