Hey guys. I’ve just gotten into ezdrummer and am so impressed it that I was thinking of getting an edrum set and using the ez2 for the sounds….. Question is what do I need to make this happen…… Obviously an edrum set and I guess a module of some kind….. But what else?
What would the sound module need? If I understand correctly it just need to send out midi. I have a recording setup… Protools and soundcard with midi etc….
Thanks and hope to hear.
If you have a sound card with a MIDI input that should be enough since e-drums comes with a MIDI output (double check to be sure though). If not, there’s probably an USB connection which (in practical) works in the same way as a MIDI cable – you install the drivers/software that comes with the e-kit and plug it in to your computer’s USB port.
