Originally had EZD1 but upgraded to EZD2 last night. Thinking ahead, if I want to put EZD2 on a totally new machine – will I have to install EZD1 and then install EZD2 or can I just start with EZD2? If I can, will I ever need EZD1 again?
After upgrading and looking at my products I noticed I’ve used quite a few of my authorizations. I’ve been using these products almost since day one and have seen a few computer upgrades since. Is there a way to have these reset? Not an immediate issue but I’m already thinking of a laptop upgrade.
Lastly, one issue I’ve always had when using grooves from different kits is volume. Well maybe not volume, maybe velocity. What I mean is: there is an auditable sound difference in volume when using grooves from different kits together. Or even changing from one kit to another using the same groove. An example would be the Metalheads kit, it only sounds good using its grooves. Something from the standard rock kit sounds quiet, like it’s been hit very delicately. I have work arounds but I don’t think they are the most efficient or effective. Any suggestions?
Well,
if you want to use the EZdrummer basic POP/ROCK kit, you need to install it first but if you do not use it, there’s no need to.
I have deleted your old, inactive Authorizations.
On your last question I’d say just use the Velocity controls in Edit Play Style and your ears.

Do EZ drummer 2 replaces EZ drummer 1 dll ? basically do old sessions with EZ 1 will open with EZ 2 if EZ 1 is not here or is it 2 different instances ?
Thks
EZdrummer 2 will replace EZdrummer 1 so your old projects with EZdrummer 1 should now open EZdrummer 2 instead (if you have installed it).
