Hey guys. I’m brand new to this stuff so I need help. I wanted to start out with just Toontrack solo until I learn a little more but I can’t even get that software to work. I tried installing both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions separately and I get the same error…. Path to VST problem and Drummer not found. I’ve read all the threads on this problem and no matter what, I never get a DLL installed anywhere on my Windows 8 laptop. I’m already discouraged by the 2 hours I’ve wasted. Can someone please tell me what to do after the standalone version of Toontrack Solo is installed? When I launch it, it wants me to choose the path for the VST plugins. I don’t see any of the folders that have been mentioned in the earlier threads and I never get an ezdrummer.dll anywhere on my machine.
Neither. I’m brand new to this so I didn’t want to buy anything until I can a little more comfortable with what I’m doing. I downloaded the free Toontrack Solo standalone program. It’s supposed to work by itself just to be able to feed the triggers onto my laptop. At least that is what the description said. It doesn’t say anything about needing any other program to function.
