Hi,
I still do not get it.. Im using Hart Pro E-drums together with Rolands TD-12 with latest firmware. As allways whwn using only the Rolandmodule everything sounds sharp and nice. But the HiHat in Superior.. I do not just got how to get a TIGHT tip or edge sound, the hihat allways starts with a pretty loose pedalpressure, doesnt matter if I push the pedal trough the floor or not
So again…please how can I get my Hi Hat to do what I want to do?
I have ticked “E-drums” , tried all the curves for HH (I dont really understand what difference it should make because I dont hear any change) and so on. How can I write the CC instead of use the learnbutton?
Sorry../Best regards Micke S.

Hi Micke–
I have had HH trouble as well, and I recently discovered that the issue was with my VH-11 HH controller. The VH-11 controller sits under the HH pad on a regular HH stand (in my case, an Axis longboard HH stand). After about a year of frustration, I finally figured out that the HH controller itself was probably the issue. I’ve since replaced the HH controller with an FD-8 foot pedal (but using the same HH pad) and everything seems to work perfectly…especially the “tight” closed sound you’re talking about.
Not exactly sure what your HH pad/controller setup is, but I just wanted to pass on my solution. Best of luck
