Is there a way to automate the sustain pedal within EZKeys? I have not found a way to do this with MIDI that I have written myself, but the MIDI files in the browser will have the sustain pedal automated if I drag and drop it onto a track in my DAW. There has to be a way to have the plug-in engage and disengage the sustain pedal if it does it for the included MIDI files. I just can’t figure out how. It is too difficult and inaccurate to manually do it by clicking on the pedal within the plug-in while recording. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Do you have a sustain pedal? With this you can record pedal movements to the EZkeys Song Track.

No, I do not. I am strictly writing MIDI in Ableton and using the EZKeys plug-in. I will drop the MIDI file into the stand alone player to humanize it and alter chords, etc., but I will then export the MIDI file and drop it back into Ableton to use with the plug-in. Is there a way to record sustain pedal info into the MIDI within the standalone player during this process without a pedal?
Hi,
I have my midi keyboard and sustain pedal connected to mainstage and i’m using ez keys but the pedal, although correctly assigned in mainstage isn’t triggering the sustain in ez keys.
please can you help, i can not playing piano live without it.
thanks
chris
