I’m a guitarist. The drum tracks, for me, are (unfortunately) an after thought. What I want from drum software is to be able to choose a style, say Texas Swing, have a choice of intro / outtro, maybe have an A/B section and a couple of breaks to choose from. I want to be able to set the tempo to match what I’ve already recorded, and set it down to three decimal places so I don’t have to record the drums first. Will EZDrummer help me to do that?
If you record with no click track and your timing is actually up and down even if you believe it is not then NO.
If you record to a click track then YES .
Why not set a simple groove quickly ,as to not kill your inspiration and groove with the drums in the first place ?
At least try it, it’s the way most of the rest of the world eventually figured out is best.
