I paid (a lot IMHO) for SD 2.0 and I correctly authorized it. Now it seems to be doing background authorization checks via my wifi connection and Cubase 7 is choking in the middle of recording sessions when it does that. If I disable the internet, the entire product stops working. Please fix this so one authorization is good enough, with or without my Internet connection on. I have work to do.

I agree with your frustration. I have tried to run my SD on a PC that’s offline but fail to authorize.
I have a correct code and I can use SD only if I’m ONLINE.
No one at their support can help me and I’m starting to give up
