Virtual Midi Controller for EZD like Beatcraft Pattern editor?

  Hi (first post!).

  I’ve been using Beatcraft for a number of years now. I like to create drum patterns from scratch and I felt (at the time) Beatcraft offered the most comprehensive editor to do this. However, Beatcraft is becoming a pain in the butt due to not being able to EQ individual drums after I render a sequence (track). And seeing as Acoustica are too stubborn to add a midi export feature, it’s time to move on.

  Can anyone point me towards a virtual midi controller that acts like the Pattern Editor in Beatcraft? I don’t really like the piano roll most DAW applications use for midi inputting.

  Any help would be great, thanks.
