hello.
noob here, first post.
i’ve had a quick look around this forum and the web looking for answer, but have not found it.
i’m using cubase 5.1 with ezdrummer triggered with nanopad2. i’m wanting to move a few things around
on the pad. really need to have 2 kick drums on the nanopad – a kick on 2 pads next to each other to get some
speedy double kick action (not triggering smoothly as it is hitting the one pad).
and also bring some of the cymbals and toms in the DFH, in a little closer on the pad – re arrange them so they suit the way
i play it. i’m not sure of the correct terminology of this – re-map or midi mapping, perhaps?
i really hope this can be done. i’ve tried a few thinks in the korg Kontrol Editor…but no luck.
thank you.

user friendly drum maps for the nanopad2 in ezdrummer …hmmm,
from the little more research i’ve done this evening…its looking like this is not possible in ezdrummer …is it?

Hi,
re-mapping trigger notes inside the EZdrummer plugin is not possible.
This must be done either in your host or the MIDI controller.

thank you John.
so, another quick Q – do you know of a way that one can re-map triggers using the korg nanopad2 with protools or cubase?
i’ve been searching – but nothing is coming up.
thanks again mate.
