Hi!

Totally new to DAWs and VSTs and pretty much everything so I have a noob question before I spend more money

I have bought Reaper, Shreddage2 and Ministry of rock. Now I want to use Matt Halpern’s midi-pack for template/foundation. My question is this: is ezdrummer required in order to use the midi-packs? Does ezdrummer lite work with midi-packs?

Hi,

yes, EZdrummer or Superior Drummer is required. You can also use it with EZplayer Pro and your drum sampler of choice. EZplayer has conversion maps for most other common drum samplers.
