Hello, I have been using Superior Drummer 2 for a while now, but I still can’t figure out how to do this.
Suspended Cymbals… I mean… that thing with crashes that rock drummers usually do at the end of a song to sustain the sound of the crash. I’m not sure if the term in english is correct.
Just what roger taylor does here in the beginning… sustaining crashes

Thank you and apologize if i made any english mistakes.
cheers
Yes! Cymbals swell or cymbals roll. I did not say that I’m completely at 0 knowledge on this stuffs… so if there is someone kind enough to tell me how to do it I would really appreciate that 🙂
Some of the X-packs have pre played Rolls or swells but they might not be the right length .
If you have a kybd you can do a two finger roll easily with Quantise turned off .
The notes are going to be very close together but out of time to your metronome so no quantising is important.
For a dynamic “swell” in the Roll you need a bit more control but dynamics can be added or changed with some precise editing to the midi once recorded.
Usually they start very softly and just get louder and louder, sometimes you may want a definite crash accent at the start then soft rolling and building to a big crescendo. It has a lot to do with dynamics.
You can also do it across two cymbals, real drummers do that just as much as they do on one cymbal.
If you don’t have a midi Kybd or E kit you can pencil it in but it may take a few minutes
Best to just give it a go.
If you cant do it or are not happy PM me and i will shoot some over to you.
Looks something like this in the piano roll editor.
You can have this midi file if you wish.
