Hey,
I’m considering buying a copy of EzDrummer. I’m tired of using free, synthetic sounding drum vsts, and are looking for the real deal.
1. Is there any way that you can try it before you buy it?
2. Not sure if you can answer this one but, is the midi-mapping “standard”? I can’t explain it any better than that, sorry. I make my songs in GuitarPro, export them to midi and just drag it into garageband. My drum VST then takes care of the rest. I tried using AddictiveDrums, but the midimapping was like reversed. I want my kick in GuitarPro to be the kick in the VST (and so on..) as well. I realize this sounds stupid but, I’m not buying something for 200 USD just to piss me off.
3. Is there any bundle deals? I wanna try the Drums from Hell, Metal Machine of Metalhead, but I think it’s sort of a robbery to charge 100 USD when you’ve already bought it for 200 USD. (I’m not cheap, I have a family to support dudes.)
1. No, there is no demo version available. You can listen to the demos on the product page and check out youtube videos to see/hear how it sounds.
2. EZdrummer uses GM Extended mapping. That means that it is GM compatible but has extra mapping that is unique to EZdrummer/Toontrack. You should have no issues playing GM mapped MIDI files with EZdrummer.
3. If you are in the U.S., Toontrack is running deals this month (August 2012)…$79.99 for EZD and $39.99 for EZXs.

Okay, too bad. I know how it sounds, and I love it, just more interested in if it works with my current method or not.
Anyway, thanks.

Except the “Pop” EZX for some reason. I went to buy it for the claves that are missing from the LP EZX and find it at full price…
Is there any way I can persuade you guys to add the claves as an update to LP please? (I’m presuming here that they were recorded in Mikael Emsing’s session) -I’m not really interested in the rest of the EZX

It would probably be faster to wait until the next EZX sale to includes the Pop! EZX. The newest EZX is never included in the latest sale.
