I have EZPlayer Pro but not EZDrummer; I am looking for more techno/dance oriented midi data. I see the expansion pak called Electronic EZX® and wanted to know before I purchase …

Inside EZPlayer Pro will I have access to the midi data from Electronic EZX® without owning EZDrummer?

I would not recommend the purchase. EZX-s are expansion packs made of Sounds as well as MIDI. Any other EZX, I would have just warned you that you would not get the full value of the product without owning EZdrummer or Superior, but in this particular case the MIDI is very much tied to the sound set and is not very GM friendly and its use to you will be limited.

If you do not mind the expense despite only being able to make use of the MIDI using EZplayer pro, I could however recommend the Number 1 Hits EZX, though again I would have to emphasize that while the MIDI will cause you no problem, you would only be getting access to a fraction of the value of the pack.
