I noticed when I was playing along with midi patterns being played by ezkeys, it was very cool to see the midi patterns highlighted (little red circle) on the piano on the screen, however, the notes I was playing through my own midi keyboard were being highlighted in the exact same way on the piano on the screen. So, I could not distinguish what note I was playing on my keyboard and what note was part of the midi pattern played by Ezkeys because both were highlighting in the same way on the piano user interface. It would be very cool if there was a little circle of a different color highlighting whatever note you play on the midi keyboard as well as the little red circle that highlights what ezkeys is currently playing!
That way, someone using ezkeys to learn would be able to see where they go wrong when playing their own midi keyboard, rather than just seeing a mix of highlighted notes from the midi pattern and midi keyboard input jumbled up on the piano. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I think it would make learning a lot easier…although I know the purpose of ezkeys isn’t for learning (although that was a feature outlined in the promos!).
Thanks!
