Maybe some can help me to find the right set up. I am using a Alesis DM 10 X with 2 Hi Hats and two ride cymbals (each on eleft and right). Toontracks: Superior Drummer 2.0
My problems:
Hi Hat:
how can I set up the Hi Hat, so that the controller has more positions and not only “open” and “closed” – specially for playing double bass I wanna have a position in the middle between open and closed – more to soft closed? How can I do the set up, so that I can switch between nearly closed Hi Hats (both) when playing double bass and using the Hi Hat with controller for single bass play?
How can I set up a second Hi Hat for using it seperately from the other?
Ride:
both are 3 zone rides. How can I set up the cymbal so that I have a very clear bell, a clear ride and also a crash?
Is there any possibility to switch between sounds by the normal keys of a laptop and if, how to set it up?
Last question:
how can I use itunes and toontracks together? Everytime I have started toontrack I dont hear any sound from itunes or also youtube, ….??
Thanks in advance for any help 🙂
