I mostly try to do funky 70s drum sounds or 70s reggae. I like hip hop that uses samples of 70s drumbeats. Dirty and characterful.
I imagine that even though I’m not making metal music, that there are probably many useful drums in the sound library.
I don’t plan on using MIDI grooves. I plan on playing all my own drum patterns.
Should I just buy every drum sound toontracks sells ha ha.
Roman.
I like the Metal Foundry – and I definitely don’t do Metal music. It’s got some good sounds and some big kits.
Check out Custom and Vintage for your 70s sounds too – that’s still my favorite of them all 😉
