Latency is directly related to your audio sound card’s buffer setting.

You should have some kind of ‘Control Panel’ where you can adjust the buffer size. It is usually accessed via your host in an audio devices menu or possibly in the Application folder on a Mac. In Solo, the latency can be adjust via Options->Audio->Latency Settings…

Lower buffers allow for lower latency and ‘real time’ playability.

    Thanks Scott.

I can’t seem to locate any buffer settings on my Mac but I did previously adjust the latency settings within Solo. At the time it didn’t seem to help. However, I noticed that once I closed other applications that were running at the same time it fixed the issue! Particularly Safari. I had a video loading on YouTube & I’m thinking this had to have something to do with slowing down the performance of my computer. I could be wrong, but all I know is that once Solo was the only running application I was not experiencing any latency issues.

    Thanks!
