Metal Machine vs Andy Sneap presets w/ Metal Foundry

Does anyone have both Metal Machine, and the Andy Sneap presets for Metal Foundry?

I wondering which you like better right out of the box. Superior and Metal Foundry have the obvious advantages that anything has with Superior. But Metal Machine was recorded specifically by/with Andy Sneap so he got to get exactly the sounds he likes to use. Just wondering which people like better. I already have Metal Foundry, so if the Andy Sneap presets are every bit as good as Metal Machine, then I’d rather stay in Superior (and spend less money). Thanks!

Personally, if you ask ‘which you like better right out of the box’, I would prefer Metal Machine as it sounds like it sounds right out of the box. TMF samples are raw and need to be mixed, either using presets as a starting point or from scratch. I think TMF is more flexible in terms of what you can do with the sounds but Metal Machine is awesome for ‘that type’ of sound.

Thank you. It seems my gut feeling on it is probably correct. That Andy himself would probably prefer Metal Machine because it’s recorded the way he wants, mixed the way he wants, etc. Whereas his Metal Foundry presets are the equivalent of him being hired to mix a session recorded in someone else’s studio by another engineer and producer. He’ll most likely make it sound awesome, but it would be even better (to his ears and taste) if he had his hands in it from the beginning.
