Which one is better and do they do the same thing??
Lastly do they need other things to work with them and if so what?
Also do the professional presets work in only superior or do they work in ez too?
They are both drum samplers, each aimed at different users. EZdrummer is made for songwriters (less/no mixing required as the sounds are premixed) whilst Superior Drummer 2 is for e-drummers, pro producers, and those that want to tweak and mix their drum sounds (sounds are more raw and need to be mixed by the user).
Which one is for you? Only you can decide.
Lastly do they need other things to work with them and if so what?
They both need a host to be loaded in (Cubase, Reaper, Pro Tools, et al).
Also do the professional presets work in only superior or do they work in ez too?
The S2 Producer Presets only work in S2 and not in the EZdrummer sampler.
