I have a Roland DR-880 drum machine that includes 500 patterns/songs. Each song is broken down by intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro, etc. I would like to be able to save each pattern as an individual midi files that can be imported into Superior Drummer as ‘Midi Packs.’ One way to achieve this is to lock the drum machine via midi with my Pro Tools rig and individually record each pattern. Although the payoff would be there, this would be a time-consuming affair. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeffrey
It looks like the only use for the usb storage mode is for backing up the entire machine, as is. You can’t get individual songs or patterns that way.
The usb has a midi mode that I have yet to get working in Studio One. Any further advice or info on this subject in anyway would help me and probably others, Thanks.
