I’ve used ezdrummer in the past with Music Creator 5 which was a 32 bit application. I recently downloaded Sonar X1 Studio which is 64 bit and am having trouble making my ezdrummer work in the environment. The host will load the GUI for ezdrummer but it isn’t loading the data itself. For example, whenever I load the basic kit I can see the drums and can even “hit” them but have no sound. Also the indicator shows that 0 MB of the kit has loaded, which indicates to me that the kit isn’t loading.
I see a download in the Toontrack store update sections for ezdrummer 1.3.1 for XP or newer. Is this a 64 bit update? I can’t find any information on what is actually there. I installed it but am having the same problem and would appreciate any info on 1) whether or not a 64 bit non-beta version is available and 2)where to find it.
Thanks,
David

The answer to the OP’s question is, yes: EZdrummer is 64-bit and works with 64-bit hosts.

I have the same problem with sonar 8.5.3 PE 64bit on windows7 64bit.
I updated EZD 1.3.1 , but still 0 MB of the kit has loaded.
Toontrack Solo works fine.
(the same problem = http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2102650)
John said “it works”,bad I guess that it doesn’t work.

John I’m very sorry to have my subject into the Pre-sales section. And thank you for introducing the link of the registered users Support section of the Forum. I had not found this link. But…I’m denied this link (probably because of not registering my product serial…I don’t know how to do it…), so I’ll try to send an e-mail about my subject. Thanks,
