presuming your TD-3 module is at Factory settings:
1) Load the Superior 2 plugin in Toontrack solo or Pro Tools and load your library+kit.
2) Go to the ‘Mapping’ page, in the MIDI Presets drop-down select ‘MIDI > Note Mapping > E-drums’.
This sets up the HH controller with the hatsTrig notes, Cymbals and chokes via AfterTouch, positional sensing on the Snare (can’t recall now if the TD-3 supports this) and pretty much every note on your standard TD-3 kit except maybe the Floor Tom Rim (which can easily be ‘Learned’).
Now, if you do not like some of the response curves, they can be edited here as well and when you’re done setting up, you save it as your own MIDI Preset to be recalled in your preferred host with perhaps another kit.
