Are you asking if you can load other VST instruments or VST plugins in the S2 mixer? If so, no, you can’t do that. The S2 mixer only mixer the S2 sounds and the included S2 plugins.

That’s what I was wanting to do (load reverbs etc into the S2 Mixer). I suppose I can route the snare or toms etc to a channel in
cubase and do it that way?

If you’re using Cubase LE4, then no, you can’t do it. Cubase LE4 is limited to stereo operation of VSTi so you can’t route separate channels out of S2 into Cubase LE4. The Studio and full versions of Cubase can multiout VSTis to host, though.

I also have Reaper 2.5x, would that be possible using that as the DAW?

I’m not sure. Reaper 2.5 is pretty old and I’m not sure of it’s limitations. I use Reaper 3.74 and it works fine for multiout.
