Hi, thanks for looking 🙂 I’m new to all of this ASIO and so on, so any help is appreciated
I have scoured the internet and just cannot find the answer I am looking for so here goes.
I have downloaded and installed ASIO4ALL, and it works great with EZDrummer, couldnt ask for anything better,
the problem is that it seems to take over my soundcard, so I can’t play iTunes or sounds from the internet, which means I can’t practice along to songs I want to play, and I cant record on to some software such as Mixcraft, so I tried downloading Kristal, which I can record on to, but still cant play back,
I just need to know if there is a way to make everything ASIO compatible? lol
or if when I buy an ASIO USB driver will that mean I can use my default sound card for normal playback at the same time?
Thanks for any help
Chris
you would need a multi-client asio card, then this *might* work.
But yes, even without that capability, an external audio card would solve the problem in the manner you suggest (using the internal card for iTunes).
