This is just my first impression after having upgraded from EZDrummer to SuperiorDrummer.
In EZDrummer, I choose the kit and have a listen to some beats and then drag it in to Logic.
I’m now just starting to go through the instructions on how to get EZPlayer running. I realize SuperiorDrummer is a more advanced product but this doesn’t have to mean it’s “ComplexDrummer” does it?
Is there any good UI reason why SuperiorDrummer doesn’t just have the beat player within the interface?
The number of steps involved in just setting EZPlayer up seems ridiculous to me at this stage.
I don’t really care if it’s more powerful or does something else other than play beats, I just want to be able to play and choose beats from one plugin.
Are there any plans to give SuperiorDrummer the simple workflow of EZDrummer?
Superior Drummer has had a MIDI Browser since version 2.2 (released Sept. 2009). Please download and install the latest version (2.2.3) from your Toontrack account.

Right, thanks. Sorry.
I’d assumed EZPlayer was the new “Groove Browser” – must have read something misleading.
I’ve only ever installed 2.2.3 but I just didn’t notice the tab strip nor the button/tab “Grooves” – which is what I was looking for.
I don’t think there’s much you could do to cater for my ignorance there – maybe if the tab said “Beat Browser” I would have noticed, but that’s probably not gonna work for other reasons.
I’d also suggest you download the latest S2 manual to see all that S2 has to offer.
