Hi Guys,
Is there anyway to control the mixer in Superior 2 via MIDI in Ableton or similar. Our Drummer just turned up with superior and doesn’t know how to use it. I’m a guitarist so not sure myself.
Just looking at controlling levels via Korg Nano so I don’t have to keep tweaking with the mouse. I did try MIDI learn thru ableton but nothing comes up for editing.
Or is there a way to export each drum and cymbal to its own track in ableton so I can control the faders that way?
Sorry for the Noob question but its all new to me lol
Fingers crossed and Cheers for any input
– you cannot control the Mixer via MIDI
– you can control each mic channel in your host (that includes Ableton Live)
… if you need more detailed info than this, the person with the Superior copy registered to their account must come and ask further questions on here himself, although this is more of a matter for the Ableton forum and you may be best advised to ask there in the first instance.

I have a similar request/problem.
I’m using Roland V-drums along with the Muse Receptor running SD2.0 and would like to be able to map the OH mic/level to one of the assignable knobs on the front of the Muse, in order to dial in “room sound” in live situations.
Will the OH channel (or anything else in the SD Mixer) respond to MIDI commands?
Thanks!
Hi,
the Superior 2 Mixer does not accept MIDI commands.

John
